Huawei OptiX RTN 510 Overview

Tail sites, such as the vast number of video surveillance sites required as part of a Safe City project, urgently require fast, low-cost and high-bandwidth transmission solutions. To address this issue, Huawei presents its unlicensed point-to-multipoint (PtMP) microwave RTN510. The RTN510 features large bandwidth, strong anti-interference, environmental adaptation, simple O&M, and enhanced Ethernet, making a highly competent wireless transmission solution for projects with a large number of tail sites. The RTN510 can also provide a point-to-point (PtP) solution to achieve long-distance transmission after service aggregation.

TDMA accurately controls timeslots to ensure that services are sent or received on individual timeslots, preventing conicts when multiple terminals send or receive data simultaneously on one frequency. With TDMA, a reliable connection is sustained between multiple RTs and one AP.
